What do you do with your spring lasagne pots when they have finished?

Just that really, I had a varying degree of success with them and want to try something new next year. I have removed the old bulbs, but what should i do with the left over compost? It has gone quite dry, can I use as mulch?

I sometimes keep it, mix with a bit of new and reuse in summer pots. Otherwise chuck it on a border. If it's really rooty I put it in my compost bin.
