Am I cultivating a very vigorous weed or not?

This very healthy & happy bushy plant is puzzling me. Google images says it's Mexican Tea ( which I've never heard of). It's in a raised bed and looks very intentional. I'm sure I planted it as a 'proper' plant.
It's sending out babies a bit like a stawberry.
Any ideas? Thanks

RHS sell it for £12 so no not a weed

Brilliant, thanks folks. I've taken off some babies to grow on, but didn't want to be unintentionally spreading weeds! Looks like I'm on to a winner. It's definitely very happy where it is 😊
