Garden furniture in a shed less garden!

Getting rid of our shed as it hefty and takes up a lot of space. We’re thinking of getting a few garden bits small table and 2 chairs and a small bbq. Is it possible for us to keep these in the garden all year round under some kind of protective cover or will they get destroyed?

I have a cast iron set which is left out year round without a cover and is fine, just needs responding every 5 or 10 years but should last forever really. I've also just ordered some good quality rattan stuff with weatherproof cushions from Maze and although I've ordered a cover for it, I don't think it really needs it. I also don't have anywhere to store but will bring the cushions inside in the winter and store them in the loft.

I have cast iron - repaint every five years or so.

Cast iron or anything else with decent covers

There are lots - they look like woven rattan but are plastic. Mine stand out all year and are fine. Just google garden furniture and look at sites like B&Q.
