Do I buy David Austin bareroot roses now or hold out for a discount?

Trying to get as many plants for our new house (garden was absolutely barren!) as possible, so I'd rather wait for a discount if possible...but will bare root roses start to disappear from the website soon? Don't want to miss my chance and end up spending almost twice as much on potted plants! Does anyone know if David Austin run spring offers?

I don’t remember any major discounts last year, but you probably only have 2-3 weeks to order bare root plants if you want to get them in the ground by end of march. I’m in the South and my roses are already showing signs of new growth - we’ve had a mild winter so far - so I would want to get them in the ground sooner rather than later. Might be less time sensitive if you are further north, though.

The discount codes come out in autumn for ordering that winter and you get them if you have ordered the year before. I binned mine to stop myself from buying anything but if you are lucky someone else might have one?

Thanks both. Definitely need to take the plunge today in that case!

Discounts usually come out for pre order so they have more of an idea what to lift in the field, they won't be lifting more now so may not even have stock for some varieties

Cheshire and last autumn planted bare roots are showing growth. They've been kept in unheated greenhouse then out unprotected since Jan
I have bare root trees heeled in that I need to move this week or there will be another year before they're where they should be

I got a discount through the post today with the Handbook of Roses - 15% off with SPRING25.
