Can you tell me what is wrong with my hydrangea cuttings? Pics!

I took these cuttings in June 24. It was a labour of love to make them grow roots, it took about 8 weeks.

They've been happy in this soil until about 8 weeks ago when they got fungus knats. I treated it with nematodes and the bugs have been gone for around 3 weeks.

Now the beautiful healthy leaves are turning yellow and falling off.

It sounds dramatic but I've worked so hard on them and it's a horrible feeling seeing them struggle!

They definitely aren't over watered. I wait till the soil is dry underneath then water. About once a week ish.

Any advice?

Hydrangeas are deciduous. They may have just noticed it's late winter and the days are lengthening and decided to shed last year's leaves in preparation for this year.

Ok. I've repotted and fed them. Time will tell

Won’t do any harm but there’s no point in feeding in the dormant season.
