Hi all. I’d posted about my raspberries before and thought this type was summer fruiting. But they are coming now? And I found the original label and it says autumn raspberries. But I planted them last year and got nothing so I thought only summer fruiting fruited on last years growth? Regardless I am after some advice on how manage them please? Do I cover over with net so birds can’t pull them? Any other tips? When to prune and how hard? Thank you all

Cut to 6 inches above ground level in spring. They flower and fruit on new growth in autumn. Don't be surprised nothing happens in year 1 because they are growing roots. Next year will be better.
