Are these elderberries?

I threw in a mixed native hedging pack down one boundary when we moved in a few years ago, as a wildlife friendly place holder as much as anything.

I think these are elderberries but I'm not familiar enough to be sure.

Anyone?

Not in a hedge.
And that shows why you shouldn’t just pick berries without checking the plant they’re growing on

Good job she didn’t do it with hemlock.

Not me, thank goodness. Apparently it was horrible, I'm not sure if it fizzed up at all.
