Watering

Have a large garden with many pots. We can no longer stand to do the watering. Need an automatic watering system. Can any one give me advice how to go about this thank you

Same here OP, over 100 pots on a patio, do you have one of those lightweight hoses?

I have a well, and a pump and feed that to a mix of soaker hoses, a long hose and two of these which I mix and match depending on what needs what, and when. I only use these during the summer months, otherwise I use the water butt water.

Solar powered automatic watering systems. They feed from a reservoir - so can be a water drum. They come with 15 drippers but you can buy an extension kit or just buy a second system. They are frequently on offer for £19. They do different programs.

We have 2 at home and another 3 at our allotment!

Please note I am recommending this specific one- I bought another type that had more programmes but sent it back as the tube bore was too big and so the pump only had enough oomph to get to the first 5 drippers
