Is this a fungal disease on my shrub

Hello,

I have an established shrub which now has many leaves that look like they are succumbing to a fungal disease, please see photos attached. Would anyone be able to identify what this is and how to remedy?

Have you checked the underside of the leaves for any pests?

I'd err on a fungal disease... but fungal and viral issues often present similarly.

Try a standard antifungal spray on the leaves, if it doesn't work, it's viral and you'll have trash it.

I don't know much about gardening but I have a pear tree with this on it. I was advised to trim off all affected leaves to avoid it spreading to other nearby plants and to spray them with something (can't remember what it was)
