gazillions of flying ants

I have two rose bushes in pots on a patio and they have always had a fair few ants crawling about the pots. This morning swarms of flying ants (I think) are coming out of the soil into the air and crawling all over the plants. I have moved all other pots in the vicinity. What else would you do? I am not a fan of killing insects. Help!

Nothing. It's what they do.

It's the season, especially with warmth and high humidity.

It was flying ant day yesterday. They’re everywhere for a few days and then they disappear. They’ll be gone soon.

My ants are a day late then! 😂

I feel for you. We''ve had a few in the kitchen. I don't mind them outside but they don't belong in my house.
