I've just removed about three bin liners of this from a cottage garden. By cutting and pulling.

I have a large bare area elsewhere I need to fill. Is it worth spreading the cuttings out and seeing what they do. This stuff is growing like wildfire. It's coming out drains, walls, the door step. It seems to just take root itself.

The area I want to fill is same sort of space, woody and soft soil.

I didn't pull from Root so can't really plant it but I wondered if it might do it itself.

It's worth a try I reckon. When it likes it where it is there's no stopping it, if it doesn't like it it just sits there and sulks ime.

Well that's my thinking. I either chuck it on the compost pile here, or spread it where I want it and it dies and then I move it. Or it grows

It's so invasive I'm thinking with this weather it might just go
