Too late to plant dahlia tubers?

I’ve bought some dahlias online which I expected to be green plants. What I’ve received are large tubers. Is it too late to plant them or should I just try to store for next year?

Nah - get em in. Mine are just getting green shoots this week. It won't take long. We had a cold wet spring so everything a bit later anyway.

I'm far from an expert but would plant them. Even if you tried to store them, I'm sure they'd try shooting anyways. I'm SE and we've had wet, windy and cold weather. Mine (which stay in pots year round) are only getting green now. No flowers as yet, so I don't think its too late at all.

Oh that’s good news since I bought them to create a cut flower garden. I’ll get them in tomorrow!
