Just snapped an arm off my standard fuschia

Just that really. Been nurturing it since taking it as a cutting last September. Everyone has been threatened not to breathe on it. Even sent it to be babysat by my brother while we were on holiday last month. I was pushing a supporting stake into rhe pot and snapped one side "arm" off it. I could honestly cry. Pride comes before a fall I guess - serves me right for feeling all cocky 😪

Flowers or is that a bit tactless?

Take all the flowers and buds off the broken bit and put it in water. Waste not want not.

Bad as it feels, at least it was you that did it. Blaming yourself is better than blaming others

@Justsewsew It might produce buds in the next few weeks, so take them off anyway so it can concentrate on growing some roots.

@MereDintofPandiculation exactly what I said to my husband. This plant has put the fear of god into him! In other news, my rose cuttings are finally showing roots through the bottom of the pot 😊
