What plants /flowers would you recommend? I have clay soil so I have pots and baskets, I already have Pansies, a rose bush and a acer tree that's still young. I do like peonies and heard they are OK in any soil. I like evergreens and would love a small tree (my gardens not very big) sorry if I waffled there lol Thanks in advance

If you have sun it’s easy. Current winners in my garden are thalictrum, hardy geraniums and roses. But do you have a photo? How big a space are you looking to fill?

I have several peonies but non of them flowered (again) so they are coming out this year and I’m giving up.

I love all sorts tbh but I want something that isn't hard work. I even like evergreens. Are flamingo trees good??

I do like my Pansies but they get a bit leggy in the hot sun
