I noticed black fly on it too late. What shall I do?
Unfortunately it looks like it won't bloom and the broom things are shrivelled. Should I chop them off?

If it is anything like what happened to mine two years ago, it is doomed. The poor thing was absolutely smothered in blackfly. I tried spraying it - which didn't get rid of them, and then I decided to let nature, ladybirds etc take action instead. Nope. Gone. Dead as a dodo.

I didn't realise they kill things?? §
I tried to squish them off...

How upsetting.
