I have serious brables. I cut the back but they grow back just as quickly

What is the best thing to just kill them?

Well ideally dig them out. But if that’s not possible, cut as low as possible then use SBK brushwood killer on what’s left. I think it’s pretty nasty stuff so be careful what you get it on. It’s worked well when I’ve used it.

Cutting them back does nothing. Get the spade/ fork, put your back into it, get the buggers out! It's the roots you need to eradicate!

If you feel at the base, there’s a sort of bulge where all the shoots are coming from, you need to cut below this to stop them coming back

They won’t come back from bits of root as long as you get the growing point out
