Does anyone have a corded lawnmower that they actually love?

Or are they all just badly made now? None of them seem to have good reviews. Lots of ‘stopped working after one use’, caught fire, grass catcher doesn’t fit well, plug keeps falling out, wheels fell off etc.

maybe I should just buy another expensive replacement battery for my 15 year old Enviro Mower?

Dunno, I do the upkeep for several gardens, they all use pretty bog standard Bosch ones more than a few years old, no problems or breakages yet in the time I’ve been using them and they cut the grass just fine- nice stripes. Sure, the lead is a bit of a faff but once you get your routine right it’s not that bad.

Yeah, I’ve got a beautiful qualcast so light I can carry it on one finger. It’s now over 30 years old Sort of proves your point.
