Hardcore question

I want some hardcore in order to put down a new patio. I'm also taking the plaster off an interior stone wall. This might be a stupid question, but can I use the plaster that is coming off the wall as the harcore for my patio?

no idea sorry. from thread title i thought was going to be a question about some terribly difficult element of gardening, like double digging.

you can use anything for hardcore so yes, but you will also need proper hardcore as well as the bits of plaster.

you can but not alone as it will be too soft and the slabs may move after a time.
