Have this wild Fatsia japonica in our front garden, moved here a couple of years ago but just thinking now about what to do with the space. Advice / tips on how to tame / prune it please! Many thanks

That’s a beauty. Fatsias are very forgiving. Take off all dead leaves/stalks and just trim back to the size you want. They do well in pots and as houseplants, too.

@MrsSkylerWhite Thank you so much! Is now an okay time to prune?

Yes, I’ve cut back at this time of year and they’ve always been fine. It may look a bit sad and droopy if we get further frosts but it will bounce back when it warms up.

I’ve found them to be pretty much indestructible over the years!
