I say I'm a beginner. I'm not really but I still have no clue 😂😂

Wisteria - It's just a stick at the min. There are a couple of dead branches on the end. Will these stop it grieving or will it grow elsewhere?

Bamboo Fergashia (???) do I really cut it down to 2 inches? It's approx 3-4 feet.

Salix Flamingo - again lots of dead ends ??

Roses - The rose head is there but no rose petals.

I made a post last week asking for help (under a different name) but I really need a dummy guide. Thank you

Roses don't flower at this time of year. Wisteria can take several years to establish itself before it starts to get going, and you can prune off the dead ends of the salix flamingo. It will have had frost damage at the tips, that's all.

I don't prune my bamboo, but then again, it is in a pot and not all that big anyway.

Wisteria - hopefully it’ll shoot elsewhere. It’s too early to throw things out as dead. Wait till at least May.

Bamboo, possibly Fargesia murelae or Fargesia rufa you don’t have to prune it But if you, remember the bamboos are in the grass family - they’re tough!

Salix I’ll leave to someone else

Rose - can you tell us more about type of rose (climbing or bush) and what you mean by “the rose head is there”?

Thanks all.

Rose - It's a climbing rose. Do I cut the head off?

Wisteria - I snapped the dead bits off.

Salix Flamingo - Same as above

Bamboo - I'm worried it won't grow back as I'm trying to grow it for privacy.

Hi all. Sorry to jump on. I have two wisteria which I bought last summer they are both still sticks. No branches leaves or buds. What should it look like now?

Thanks.
