I have finally done Sunflowers plus loads of stuff for our very small garden and the kids loved it.

We started off with Sunflowers in a few yoghurt pots, but then I got the bug and bought some of those egg cup type planters and have so far got lobelia, lupins, some other daisy type thing and we are all very excited about them. They are on the window sill (my ones) but the sunflowers are in the garden by a wall. It's taken a week but we are seeing shoots. The children loved planting etc. I am a fairweather gardener and just cut everything back in spring and hope for the best. I know nothing about gardening really.

I am excited though. Those little dark brown pots now have green. Hoooooo raaayyyyy

It is exciting You're braver than me though - it's been too cold and wet to go in the garden and ours looks windswept and overgrown. I was excited when all the crocuses (crocii?) came up the other week though. Not quite excited enough to go out and do the weeding though
