Pruning a small fig

Hello, I've got a potted little miss figgy which I'm going to repot and prune next month. Last year it just grew long stems with a few leaves on the end of them with no figs and there aren't any mini figs to grow bigger next year so I would like to give it a good prune to encourage growth. Any tips on what I'm doing would be great!

I've found a photo of it from July if it helps.

The middle of winter is the wrong time of year for pruning, so wait until spring.

I’ve got this variety last year. Like you it didn’t grow any small fruits but I am putting this down to repotting and the plant establishing bigger roots.

I am leaving mine until spring (March/April) to see what has with the buds etc as this type is meant to produce two set of fruits per year.

Figs are very forgiving, mine gets a hard prune to the base every time it gets too unruly and comes back better every time.
