Olive tree

My potted olive tree has been outside unprotected from the frost for the last few nights. Is it too late to save it? What do I need to do if not?

Bring it into a frost-free place?

Mine have all been outside for 10 years, admittedly in a sheltered Courtyard can you find a sheltered corner?

Bring it in, to somewhere frost free but not warm (and outdoor shed, or a porch). You don't want to shock it by moving it into a warm place at this stage.

FWIW, mature olives should be hardy into low temperatures, and potted trees often cope with a frost.

I move mine to the side of the house, which is a bit more sheltered. They should be fine.

I have two, we had -5 last night, & have had worse before - both trees do fine so fine (had them for 10+ years). We have nowhere to bring them into & it's a north facing garden (though technically south facing at the bottom). They're relatively sheltered by fence/tree/other plants.
They do get frosts in Italy etc.
