Repotting Alocasia zebrina- wrong time of year?

My Alocasia zebrina has done really well this year and grown loads. I'm sure I reported it s few months ago but just checked it and there are loads of roots coming through bottom of pot.

Should I repot again now? It's stopped putting out new leaves so I'm worried it's wrong time for repotting? Would it hurt it to spend winter with so many roots poking out?

Also is it possible to take root cuttings???

Mine has done the same, not sure about the answer to your question but would love to know too!

I had this dilemma last year but with a Kentia palm. I decided to leave it until the spring on the grounds it wouldn't be very active over winter. It was fine.
