Thanks@AnneKipankitoo the trees will be missed as they provided a lot of shade.

Beautiful photos. I wish we could ‘like” them. I am enjoying all the tulip ones - I have only recently discovered a bit of a passion for them.

This tree is in the middle of the lake in the US South where my Dsis and BIL live..
I love the Spanish moss, and I think this is a cypress tree.
They pay for all that lovely green, though with hurricanes and tornadoes.⛈️🌪🌬🌫

Here's my tangerine/mandarin bush in fruit. It's just over metre tall. The fruit is thick-skinned and not very juicy this year

Just doing some evening gardening here before going away for a few days. Things change so much day by day at this time of year that I almost resent a holiday in May!! Alliums beginning to take over from the tulips. Foxgloves also ready to burst.

Lovely colour combo @Lottsbiffandsmudge . It is hard to go away when things are in bloom. I've been away for 4 weeks..can't even imagine what my garden will look like.

Wow@echt your tree is so fruitful..I'm sorry the mandarins aren't up to par. Could you use them in a jam in a chutney?

applecatchers36 · 10/05/2024 15:48

Got back from my break to find the 'guard has changed! Tulips have given way to alliums, aquilegia and foxgloves.

@ApolloandDaphne everything looks so lovely...I really like
Your pink tulips and I believe I see what we call, Mexican Ponytails, the grassy plants in the flower bed next to your home.

@Lottsbiffandsmudge that was a nice surprise to come home to...Thanks for sharing!
