What is in your greenhouse at the moment?

Over winter, my greenhouse is heaving. At the moment, though, it looks quite bare. I've a pretty climber in the corner, a couple of petunias rescued from the slugs and a clematis that wilted and is probably a lost cause. Probably for next summer, is there anything that would suit a greenhouse that can get very hot in a heatwave? Thanks.

Mine has tomatoes, courgettes, peppers, chillies, basil. They like it warm, but if it gets too hot you can put shading on the roof. I don't cos I'm in NE Scotland and can't grow them outside.

Chillis in mine! Lots and lots of chillis. I freeze them whole and they're easy to chop when frozen so they last me all year. I used the last of 2022's chillis yesterday and my first ones of this year are almost ready to pick.

My polytunnel is full of tomatoes, peppers, aubergines and I've sown winter veg in between the plants so onions, beets, lettuce, carrots and they have all come up.

My cold frame is covered with enviromesh and has kale, cabbages and sprout seedlings in it and I have a grow bag that I've sown mizuna, kale, lettuce, kohl rabi in that will all get pricked out and potted on and I'll sow spinach in it for the winter.

Mine is full of my lovely lovely luvverly succulents that I love.
They live there in the summer and then travel to my bedroom for the winter.

I have had a bit of a crazy philodendron-buying spree in the last couple of months so there will be fisticuffs when the succulents come back in and claim their windowsills etc.

To be more specific, since you ask about plants that might thrive when the greenhouse is super-hot, I have several different weird and wonderful euphorbias, opuntias, cereus peruvianus, plectranthus ernestii, echeverias, pelargonium carnosum, a penis cactus (can't remember its posh name ), and sundry other unidentified bits and bobs. They all love the heat.

I was given a chilli plant this year - but I'm still using chillis from 3 years ago (in the freezer!!).
