Just that really, we need to cover a couple of walls but as its on the shady side of the garden and I will also have hanging pots from other bits of the wall, I need something that wont bush out too much without me cutting it every single week (I dont mind a bit of snipping here and there).

We have a lovely honeysuckle climber, 2 different types, or one might be a jasmine, not sure, and they are lovely and have done really well in almost constant shade but they are very vigorous and need a lot of cutting back, they're like triffids!

I heard star jasmine is a nice plant but dont know too much about how it goes once it gets going. I would like 2 different types if poss.

North facing garden and the wall they will be on faces east, so only the morning sun and not much of that.

Climbing Hydrangea can be trimmed so that it’s close to the wall, it also likes a shady spot.

Climbing hydrangea is also slow-ish growing so can be kept under control!

We planted a climbing hydrangea last year in a shady spot and it’s doing brilliantly

I didnt even know you could get climbing hydrangeas!
