How to I get these lovely reeds on a stream?

This stream most likely is the same one that is at the end of our garden, the difference being it has as you can see lots of lovely reeds running alongside it. Does anyone know what they are specifically called? I'd like to get the same effect - it would act as a more attractive natural barrier than that at the end of my garden currently.

Um...the yellow flowers I think are irises.

Not sure about the reeds themselves I'm afraid!

That looks like bullrush/reedmace. It does die back in winter though. You could also consider common reed, which is a bit different (will possibly cover the water more) but the dead stems remain more upright and look a bit nicer in winter. Both native species and great for wildlife too.
