A lot of olives have really suffered over the past year, first that heatwave last summer that cooked the roots, then the winter cold that froze them. Keep it in a sheltered spot, remove damaged or dead leaves and twigs, don't keep it wet but don't let it dry out either, and keep everything crossed.

You need to post on this thread:

Mine is the same and I think tailinthejam is right in that the weather the last year has a lot to do with it.

Thanks for the link, I missed that thread. Maybe there is hope for my tree yet, I will give it a little trim tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed 🤞

Mine dropped most of its leaves, but it's now sprouting new ones, as is one of my citruses (the other I think is dead.)

You can get olive fertiliser, so putting some of that might help.

I’ve reported mine with fresh compost and it has really perked up

Repotted

Remember olives are all over the mediterranean and middle East. They survive in very extreme conditions. Hot hot summers and cold winters. They are tough trees.

Mine were looking awful a few weeks ago but have burst back into life with new leaves & flowers. I think yours will be fine.

Feed it! If it's in a pot it will have used all the nutrients in the soil. Buy it some tomato feed and feed it. You can also repot it (use the contents of a growbag for tomatoes mixed with compost and some grit for drainage). Don't overwater it.
