Hardy Palms or similar for patio tubs?

I have a large area of decking and I’d really like a kind of tropical feel to it. I was wondering if there are any palms that could stand being outside in a tub on the decking, please? It’s south-facing and gets loads of sun and quite hot. I live in the West of England so I’d say it’s milder here in the Winter than most parts of the U.K. I did look at a lovely yucca but it was almost £100 😱 I can’t afford that so I’m really hoping for some ideas of palms that would work.

TIA 😊 🌴

Would a Cordyline work? I have them in the garden and they are very hardy. I'm currently trying out a Chinese Banana plant which is meant to be quite hardy.

Ooh, thank you, Blackbird! It’s great to have a name to Google 😊 I must admit to knowing very little about palms and their relatives. Just had a quick look and spotted some lovely-looking ones. Is there a specific variety that’s hardier than others?
