Any tips on getting rid of ants from large vine pot. I’ve found them crawling around the base and in the earth in the pot. Thanks

Submerge the pot is water for a few hours?

As pp said put in water and then make sure you water regularly. Ants don't like wet and like dry pots. I'm dealing with ants in a pot at the moment and water every day and keep damp

Thanks both for useful info

Usually the presence of ants means the plant also has aphids. Ants like aphids - they farm them (seriously!). Aphids convert the plant juices into a liquid called honeydew, they secrete it and the ants enjoy as a food source. Treat the plants for aphids and more often than not, the ants will bugger off elsewhere.
