repairing rusted arch /pergola legs ?

Bit of a long shot but I imagine this is common problem for those of us who have bought cheap garden arches only to find that the plant cover has taken off and the legs have deteriorated.
I just cant think what to do - looking at slotted angle iron but not sure I have competency to attach to the legs .

Do you mean those flimsy tubular affairs? I've had some success with cable ties and bamboo canes as a short-term measure.

Yes those are the ones .Thank you ,cable ties and something to reinforce sounds a good idea .
