Mushrooms appearing in the flower beds!

Any help appreciated!
The last few weeks we’ve spotted these mushrooms popping up in our flower beds. No idea where they’ve come from or what type they are. No intention of growing mushrooms with a very curious toddler around - can anyone give any advice on what they are and how to get rid?

They are not likely to be edible so probably toadstools rather than mushrooms. They are the "flowers" of the fungus that is in your soil. The fungus is absolutely vital for all of your plants to grow so you really don't want to get rid of it. If you are worried about your child eating them then you can just pop out and pick them and put them in the bin. Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly after in case they are poisonous.

You'll never get rid of them without annihilating your whole garden - as pp days they are a hugely beneficial part of the soil biome. Teach your toddler not to eat any mushrooms they see growing, it's a valuable lesson that they must learn eventually anyway. And if they're too young then pick the shrooms and watch baby like a hawk until they're old enough to understand. I get them and they come in flushes - do these will die back after a week or so I'd expect and then there won't be any for a while at least.

They come off the bark chip it looks like you've used as a mulch.

Ignore them, they will die off on their own in time.
