Hi, has anyone else been making impulse purchases recently?

I only went to my favourite garden centre for a cup of tea and came home with this (oops)

I'm not sure what to do with it yet

Love hearing about all your impulse buys, they all sound great. I daren't go near a garden centre again for a while as it always ends up costing so much!

I'm really pleased with the impulse buy that inspired this thread, I wasn't sure for a while as it only had a few branches but it's really come on.

I took a picture but edited the clutter and unpainted shed out of the background so it looks odd 😄

Can I see the pic please? I need inspiration 🧡

I succumbed.

Bought some gaura and a couple of geums.

Last week I went to my favourite garden centre to buy some Easter bits for a friend’s daughter & came away with a reduced patio pear.

I still have 7 reduced David Austen roses I bought a few weeks ago - how could I not?? They’re staring accusingly at me on the patio as I’ve still not decided where they can go…

My absolutely biggest and most expensive impulse buy was going to another garden centre and coming out having ordered an expensive shed.

I told myself I did really need one which was true but I definitely hadn't expected to fork out for one when I'd only gone with a friend to their lovely coffee shop and a mooch around the rest of the place.

I am a pushover though sadly, my bank account can testify to it.😆

@ChardonnaysBeastlyCat Can I ask where you bought your gaura from please. I lost mine over winter.

I bought a £14 patio apple tree yesterday in Tesco, in really good condition, I have no room for it….
