What is this on my coffee arabica plant?

I was giving my indoor plants an MOT and pruning some when I found these sticky white masses on my coffee arabica plant. Some leaves below have sticky clear droplets on them. I wonder if it is excess sap (or similar) but I want to check it's not from a fungus or pest. I'm a bit of a novice you see!

I think I can see small bugs too, so I would guess you have woolly aphids on your plant. Maybe blast with a strong spray of water with a few drops of washing up liquid added, and see if you can get rid that way.

Spider mites.

Oh no! I have a spray that lists aphids as something it works on. I've sprayed the plant with that, should I cut off the most affected areas?

Spider mites.

Why do you think that? I've not had them manifest in that way before.
