How to create privacy in an overlooked terraced house garden?

Hi all,

We live in a terraced house on a bit of a hill (with annoyingly low fences), and our neighbours to the right have a conservatory which means that if they were to use it they would be staring directly into the sunny bit at the end of our garden. The garden is long and thin and due to the way it faces, we get all of the sun at the end of the garden. We're looking for some sort of easy solution to create a bit of privacy for the end of the garden which means we will feel comfortable using this during the summer. The fence to the right is their fence so we can't replace it and make it higher and due to the nature of it (brick at the bottom), I don't think it would be very easy to secure something on it?

Thanks!

Quite a good article here but if you google there are lots of good ideas.

Sit in your sunny spot and work out where you need to place something to screen the view, and how tall/wide it needs to be.
