What is this plant and how can I save it?

I have this plant in my garden, my MIL gave it to me and I can’t remember what it is. My plant ID app is useless.

Since moving it from pot to bed it has really thrived and is now enormous, however the weight of the snow we had has forced the branches to bow outwards and flatten.

If you know what the plant is how would you now save it? It’s still flowering but the stems are flattened, would you cut it back?

That’s a wallflower. They are pretty tough.

Mine has survived being repeatedly flattened by a puppy...

Most people grow them as biennials, throwing away after flowering, because of their tendency to get leggy. But you can keep them going as perennials, cutting back the most unruly branches

It's a wallflower, you can cut them back if you want to.

They usually live around 5 years and then they sort of outgrow themselves and die 😕 quite easy to take cuttings from though.
