Hydrangea help

Morning all!

Could someone give me some hydrangea advice? I’ve heard there are different types and you prune differently according to the type.

These two were here when we moved in and didn’t flower last year so I have no idea what I’m doing (hopefully pictures have attached). Any advice?

They look like they've had a hard prune. There's new growth so just leave them be, as long as they have enough water they'll look after themselves.

Most flower on last years growth. I lightly prune to strong buds.
