Orange tree

We live in the SE and Would love to grow oranges.. Some of our neighbours have amazing peach and fig trees as well as apricots.

Can it be done? Winters are a lot milder than a few years ago, any tips for going oranges and possibly lemons in the garden?

They are not frost-tolerant and are unlikely to survive in the UK. I have heard of one or two examples in sheltered courtyards in central London, but the microclimate there would offer just enough protection from all but the coldest weather.

Sorry, but unless you have an orangery, it is a no go.
