Plants to hide the edge of the flowerbed

We have a flowerbed running along the path to our house. It's edged by a very, very low wall. The wall has no coping stones and it's really uneven so fitting them will be difficult.

My plan is to put more compost into the bed and put in plants that will grow over the top to hide the wall. The bed is in full sun for most of the day and it's really hard to water it so the plants need to be drought tolerant. Any suggestions please? I thought thyme would be good but what else?

Catmint, Kit Kat is a miniature variety and flowers all summer. Campanula would look pretty.

Lavender,
Erigeron,
Salvia,

Erigeron Karvinskianus (Mexican fleabane) will work really well for most of the year, it flowers for ages with no fuss. It looks pretty tumbling over walls and edges and tolerates sun very well.

Hardy geraniums , spread like mad and impossible to kill .

thyme is good, aubrieta as well.

Phlox subulata in its many varieties from white, pink, lavender and purple. A low growing creeper, it makes a fabulous display in April to June, then just looks like moss.

I was going to say flea bane as that’s what I’m adding to one of mine mainly for this same issue.

I have erigeron, helianthemum and some others that I don't know the name of in my front wall. Hardy geraniums is a good idea from pp.

Erigeron all the way. A tiny bit of it shoved into a crack will grow and if self seeds in cracks and gaps. No maintenance and flowers all summer. I love it

Erigeron is very pretty and impossible to kill but it spreads itself all over. It is possible to get it in some pretty blues and lilacs as well as the more normal white.

Aren’t they just!

Campanula or (my favourite) Alyssum. 😊 The latter cascades really well, you get so many flowers per plant and they have a really beautiful honey fragrance.

Also came here to say erigeron. I bought one called "profusion" from Sarah raven online and it had done really well in a very shallow, sunny border next to the front of our house. It looks lovely all spring and summer and never needs watering

Aubrieta
Arabis
Cerastium
Cotoneaster horizontalis
Juniperus repanda

Wow, loads of suggestions thanks all!
