White cucumbers? Or have I been duped with rogue seeds?

Just back from 2 week holiday, neighbour has been watering, in my greenhouse there are 5 or so cucumber plants with lovely big green cucumbers growing and 2 plants with white fruit growing, one about the size of an orange and the other slightly smaller dh reckons they're melons, any ideas?!

They look like Crystal Lemon cucumbers. Try one and see if it tastes like a cucumber!

Ooh! Thanks! I did have some crystal apple cucumber seeds but I'm sure they didn't grow - will taste one later and let you know!

Looks like Crystal Lemon but wanted to let you know you can grow white cucumbers called White Wonder Cucumbers.

Really nice although the skin is a bit rough but no other flavour than cucumber. I did have some mini-munch cucumber plants so I assume it's them but they definitely weren't supposed to be white so no idea what's going on with them!
