Could anyone tell me what this "carrot" is?

It grew from a packet of chanteney carrot that I sowed last year. The seeds were free with the May edition of the Gardener's World mag. I got 1 carrot (how the four of us feasted when I harvested it!) And a bunch of these. I let a couple grow on. Over 12 months later, still no sign of a flower. The leaves are pointy, bristley and some are longer than my forearm. Presumeably the seeds look like carrot seeds. The flower is a white pansy growing through it for scale

I'm as good a photographer as I am a gardener.

My plant identification app thinks it’s comfrey?

Thank you, so not a carrot then?Grin
I was hoping it would be something else, I've already got a patch of comfrey. Must be a different variety because the leaves are much smaller. I'll give it the rest of the summer, in case it flowers (for the bees) then get rid.
