Why have my rose leaves got red spots.

It was a bare root rose earlier in the year. Now apart from my battle with the caterpillars. My leaves are starting to look like this. Can anyone help.

I’d guess insect damage. Don’t worry about it

It's rust spot. Spray with rose clear.

Doesn’t look like rust to me, nice clean holes, no sign of spores, not orange enough.

Roseclear is a dual insecticide and fungicide but will kill beneficial insects too.
