Anyone want to see a viviparous calendula? I've never seen one before!

It flowered as normal, set seed, then the little secondary buds appeared round the outside of the seed cluster and flowered! Never seen it happen before, went a-Googling and apparently it's called vivipary. Quite pretty really!

How amazing, I also love Calendula and always grow som from seed to put round my raised veg beds. They are always so bright and cheerful and flower for such a long season.
In the past I’ve grown Playtime mixed which has a variety of peachy bronze colours.

I love it! I have mixed (and strong!) feelings about viviparous fruit - I find it fascinating and it really messes with my head! But the viviparous calendula is just gorgeous.
