Hi,

I have my white hydrangeas lined up to go outside the house. Smallish row. What would you recommend I co-plant for seasonal white/green colour when they’re not in bloom?

Do you know what variety they are? How big is the border and which way does it face?

I have hydrangea Annabelle, which can be pruned quite low in the early spring so I have spring bulbs that the new hydrangea growth then hides when the other stuff gets a bit messy. Some varieties of hydrangea shouldn’t be pruned and some will get so big there’s maybe no room for anything else. Some flower about now and others not until later, so a bit hard to advise without knowing more details I am afraid.

How about Hebes? There are quite a few varieties , some have greyish white leaves and most are evergreen.
