Can I dig up lily and crocus bulbs now to store for next year?

I have them in 3 large pots. All of the leaves have now died back, and I could do with the pots for other plants. If they need to be left in soil/sun for a while can I move them all in to a smaller pot, together instead (can hide a smaller pot easier, instead of having 3 large empty ones on display)

Yes, if the leaves have browned and died back then they will be fine taken out, and put back in in the autumn.
