Tree identification please

Can anyone tell me what this tree is? Growth on the trunk is rose and ivy. It has a smooth plain trunk otherwise. Has just erupted in leaves and flowers so I'm hoping it will help with identification.

Possibly Prunus padus, bird cherry

I thought is could be a bird cherry. Very pleased to have my guess backed up my one of the plant identification experts of Mumsnet.

Thanks both! Just googled and it looks like that's it. I forgot it had berries later in the year.
