Personally I start my courgettes off in a little gro house thing. Yes to the others although peas are notorious for being dug up.

Courgettes usually go out after the last frosts, so it really depends where you live, or whether you can keep them warm if there's a cold night.
Peas and beetroot should be fine. I have planted mangetout outdoors but have made them a little fleece tent until they get a bit bigger, mostly to protect them from pigeons!

I meant to add that I always grow veg plants in small modules or pots before planting out. Seeds direct into the ground dont do so well for me.

I soak/sprout my peas in a plastic box first, then plant out.

I planted my peas and beetroot seeds outside a few weeks ago and they are just coming up now. The beetroot are a bit slow so I'm guessing it's still a bit early for them but they are just starting to appear.

Im going to sow my courgettes later today but will keep them on my window sill or in my cold frame until after the last frost as they are a bit delicate.

I put peas out about two weeks ago and they are all up, did find a few dug up so I pushed them back in again. I would put some netting over them though to keep the birds and cats off

Peas are out, you can sow them directly in February, hardy buggers they are.
Courgettes and beans I would wait until mid May as opposite of hardy buggers.

My beetroot are now in the cold frame, they’re too small to go out yet as the danger of frost is still here and they need to be bigger so the slugs don’t get them.
