It’s a small one, similar to this-

www.amazon.co.uk/EarlyGrow-MPL50035-Electric-Resistant-Propagator/dp/B074VD4ZMJ/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=2W25MDCNCL3JT&keywords=electric+propagators+for+seeds&sprefix=electric+prop%2Caps%2C110&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1649503270&sr=8-4

I paid about £35 for it in a local garden centre.

I planted seeds (cornflower, aubrietta, lobelia, viola) on Tuesday evening and had healthy little seedlings by Friday morning.

I am now planning on how I can fill every window with them Grin

The joy of seedlings never tires, does it?

What are you germinating next?

Aster, cosmos, and Zinnia are up next.

Sunflower and sweet pea seedlings are already well established and will start hardening off next week once the cold spell here breaks.

“Joy” is definitely the right word for it.

I have propagate envy ! We’re moving , so no seeds for me this year , greenhouse empty except for last of winter salad . I treated myself to a very expensive ( to me 🤦‍♀️) seed advent calendar at Chelsea with the reasoning that I’d use all the seeds to fill garden with colour … but not this garden and not this year 🤣 your idea is now on my ever growing buy when move list ! Enjoy 🌸🌼🌻

We moved house recently too and I had to leave behind my lovely garden and greenhouse. Won’t be able to get a new one this year so very much focusing on pots this summer.

If you can, set yourself up with a few pots and plant some seeds. Even little shoots lift the spirits so much.

Definitely! The movers came to price up , I spent more time showing the garden than the house 🤦‍♀️ My job of the week is to pot up the raspberry runners that have shot up in the ‘wrong ‘ place . My new place 🤞has a green house , very unloved without glass and a bare veg patch . So next year Iv got free reign !! It’s a bit odd , as back garden is north facing , the veg patch green house and even washing line are in the front !

Ah I'm envious of your success OP. I have one too but aside from some success with tomatoes, nothing else seems to work, it all just fails to germinate or pops up and keels over. I am a seed and propagator novice so the learning curve is definitely steep!
