I have bought a big zinc planter as a gift for a keen gardener. I’ll also give the things to grow in it I hope but not sure what that could be at this time of year? Would like it to be plants for spring/summer i.e. not hellebores or something that would look good right away. She isn’t keen on growing from seed but will grow bulbs. It’s wide and shallow so I don’t think suited to e.g. dahlias. I guess too early for most container plants to be bought as plants.
Any recommendations?
